Tackling a Multi Faceted Problem Space
Tackling a Multi Faceted Problem Space
Working with the internal tooling team, I was given the opportunity to work across problem spaces that impacted multiple teams at a larger scale.
My work over the summer involved having to conduct research, brainstorm, ideate and prototype ideas to improve facets of the internal portal like the shopper certification process and the shopper profile.

My work over the summer involved having to conduct research, brainstorm, ideate and prototype ideas to improve facets of the internal portal like the shopper certification process and the shopper profile.

Experience and Learning
This summer was a deep learning experience in understanding the backend workflows that support essential services like grocery delivery systems, and how even small, intentional design decisions can meaningfully reduce friction and time for internal teams.
Beyond the design work itself, conversations with designers, product managers, and engineers offered valuable perspective on how cross-functional collaboration shapes real-world products, helping me better understand the role of design within complex, operational systems.
Gained insight into backend workflows supporting services like grocery delivery
Learned how small design decisions can reduce friction and save time
Deepened understanding of internal operational systems
Learned from cross-functional collaboration with designers, PMs, and engineers
Strengthened perspective on design’s role in complex product ecosystems
